It’s a good idea to dust your honeycomb shades with a feather duster or a dry microfibre cloth. This can keep the material looking clean and will prevent dust buildup on your shades that could eventually stain the fabric. Dust can also get stuck in between the cells, so it’s a good idea to vacuum your honeycomb shades a few times per year. To make sure you are removing dust without damaging your shades, use a gentle upholstery attachment to protect the material.
You can also try using a blow dryer to blow out any dust trapped in the cells. Set your dryer to a medium setting so it doesn’t get too hot because that could damage your window treatment. It’s normal for dust to accumulate in this area, but it’s pretty simple to keep it clean.
