Transform your arch windows with bold pops of colour that complement your style with the Double Cell Blackout Arch Window Shades. These shades are a great addition to rooms with arch windows where maximum light blockage is required, such as nurseries, bedrooms and home theatres.

The 1/2” double cell pleats are made of soft, thick 100% spun lace fabric and provide enough insulation to keep your room comfortable year-round by blocking heat and cold air from the outside, while also absorbing street noise. The double-cell design works overtime by also blocking 99% of the sun’s harmful UV rays and providing privacy.

Available in a variety of neutral hues, like Topaz and Pearl, you will find the right colours to enhance your room’s décor. You can colour match these shades perfectly with other standard-shaped windows in the same room with the 1/2" Double Cell Value Plus Blackout Honeycomb Shades. All rails are color-coordinated to create a uniform look.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Standard inside mount brackets are bottom mounted. Side mount brackets are not available.
  • Deductions: Inside mount rail reduced by 3/16" (on width), fabric reduced by 3/8".
  • Additions: Outside mount rail gets 3/16" added (to width), fabric remains the same.
  • All arch shades are stationary. 
  • Traditional arch height must be half of the width.
  • Quarter arch width must equal the height.

Great product, competitive pricing, fast delivery. However, one of the blinds I ordered arrived with a slight defect on the fabric which was not noticed until they were mounted (around 2 months after they arrived - due to construction in the house). Also, the arch seems to “sag” in the middle and needs something to support it in the centre to make it actually fit the intended space.
