Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

2 blinds or shades mounted on the same headrail. Typically this is to cover a large window where the size is too large to allow a single shade. Each blind or shade on the headrail will have its own set of controls so one blind may be open while the other is closed. We recommend splitting very large blinds into 2-on-1 headrail. If it is recommended that your blind be split you can still choose to have it manufactured as one single blind, however, it will void the manufacturer's warranty.

Our top-selling Premium Faux Wood Blinds have been redesigned as tilt only. These premium blinds offer the high-end look of real wood with even more durability and a wallet-friendly price. Their smooth faux wood finish is water-resistant so your blinds won’t bend or warp over time.

Featuring a tilt wand system, these blinds allow you to control light and privacy by simply twisting the wand to open and close the faux wood slats. Based on new regulations regarding reachable cords in Canada (including the inner cords of faux wood blinds), these blinds remain in the lowered position at all times (you can read more about the new regulations here).

Recommendations and Limitations 

  • Headrail and slats made 1/2" smaller than width ordered on an inside mount. Please do not adjust your measurements – the factory will make this deduction automatically.
  • Inside mount valances will have 1/8" taken off the ordered width (deductions taken at factory).
  • Deductions may vary +/- 1/8".
  • Blinds under 11" wide will have center wand tilter

I ordered 3 blinds. 2 were scratched but, valance covered it. I advised them and we decided to take a credit in place of new blinds because once valance was on you couldn’t see it. They replied quickly. I then ordered another blind. I would certainly recommend them to people. Love the blinds and had great service! One thing I do wish I got one of them to raise up instead of tilt only. ??
