Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Chain Guard
Chain Guard is a transparent shroud that covers the Continuous Cord Loop in compliance with the new Canadian regulations for improved child safety. When in the neutral position at the bottom of the chain, the Chain Guard leaves <22 cms of exposed chain at the top of the shade. To raise or lower the shade, simply raise the Chain Guard shroud and operate the exposed chain at the bottom as you would with a regular Continuous Cord Loop.

The 1% SheerWeave Value Outdoor Solar Roller blocks 99% of harmful UV rays. These solar rollers are "room darkening" and are therefore ideal for getting shade in the outdoors. Not only will these solar rollers provide privacy but they will add the finishing touch to your modern décor. If you wish to conceal the roller, cassettes are available. All components are made out of rust proof materials, and are great for patios.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Sun control product. Not a privacy shade.
  • Polyester / PVC combination.
  • Products come with 6 to 10 inches of extra fabric to conceal the roller.
  • Fabric deduction on inside/outside mount and cordless spring lift: 5/8 inch on each side.
  • Factory deductions: Outside mount will have no deductions on the headrail but fabric will be 1 1/8 inch narrower than ordered. Inside Mount will have 1/4 inch deduction off the headrail and the fabric will be 1 1/8 inch narrower.
  • Shades will be manufactured with upgraded 1 3/8 inch metal roller for all orders over 72 inches.
  • Cassette options: Min 15 1/2", Max 115" wide. Min 24", Max 96" height.
  • Cassette cannot be side mounted.
  • Shades over 96" wide will have a maximum height of 84".
  • Chain guard shroud is transparent

Outdoor Solar Shade of great quality

I ordered an Outdoor Solar Shade for my pergolas. I am very satisfied with the quality of the product. Top roll and botton rod ar made of aluminium. The dimension is very precisely what I had specified (do make sure to take precis measurements, I measured my pergolas at mid-height and I had a 1/4 inch narrower difference at the top which created a chalenge for me to install). Cannot give 5 stars because of one minor detail. The shades materiel had a blue marking stains at the end of its roll (like blue marking type). But I've somewhat been able to practically remove the stain, barely shows but still shows a bit 'cause I know where.

Great blind and great quality but the bungee cord does not stay attached to hold down the blind. I had to add a zip tie to keep it in place
