Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

The child-safe cordless lift system lets you raise and lower the shades by simply pulling on the bottom rail.

Safety Guard
Safety Guard is a transparent shroud that covers the Continuous Cord Loop in compliance with the new Canadian regulations for improved child safety. When in the neutral position at the bottom of the chain, the Safety Guard leaves <22 cms of exposed chain at the top of the shade. To raise or lower the shade, simply operate the exposed chain at the bottom as you would with a regular Continuous Cord Loop.

Motorization allows you to open and close your blinds from up to 80 feet away with the push of a button on a remote control. Recommendations and Limitations

  • Cordless lift: Fabric width will be approximately 1-1/8" smaller than ordered width on inside mounted shades, and 7/8" smaller than ordered width on outside mounted shades. Deductions taken at factory.
  • Motorized lift with exposed roll: Fabric width will be approximately 1-1/2" smaller than ordered width on inside mounted shades and 1-1/8" smaller than ordered width on outside mounted shades. Deductions taken at factory.
  • Motorized lift with cassette: Fabric width will be approximately 1-7/8" smaller than ordered width on inside mounted shades, and 1-1/2" smaller than ordered width on outside mounted shades. Deductions taken at factory.
  • Inside Mount: 1/4" deduction off headrail with cassette or exposed roll.
  • Deductions may vary +/- 1/8.
  • Cassette will be white and fabric wrapped based on fabric chosen. Bottom rail is fabric wrapped to match.
  • Do not attempt to compensate for the fabric deductions taken during manufacturing for inside mount applications. Adjusting the measurement could result in the shade not fitting inside the window opening. Some lift systems require more room on the roller to operate, resulting in a slightly larger light gap on one side.
  • The locking mechanism on the no-drill installation headrail will be located on the opposite end of the control side selected for Safety Guard. The locking mechanism will be located on the right side for Cordless and Motorized options. 
  • IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If the no-drill installation headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and use those measurements as your width. Do NOT take the smallest of the three measurements, which may cause your headrail to not fit properly.

I was a bit disappointed in the fabric blind, it was more plastic looking and feeling than fabric. The cassette fit the window perfectly but there was still more gap on either side than I expected. It was also creased and took a long time to drop out. Excellent measuring instructions! Great shipping time.

The blinds wont go up nicely. Have to use both hands and force it up. Tried contacting chat which provided what was supposed to fix it but did nothing

Very hard to find no-drill blinds that fit my large windows. Installation was easy and I love that I didn't have to drill anything. The cordless lift is intuitive to use and there is no cord to mess up

Sends wrong size and asks if your window is square!!!

I had the most excruciating customer experience with this company!! They send wrong size blind even though the order was to fit inside the frame. When I connect they send another blind exactly dame size!! They cost me installation cost twice. And when I poi t that out they ask if my window is square!! Seriously?! They can't check my order detail and check the product detail that they sent so save me the hastle?!!!!! Absolutely wasted my time and energy!!!!! Twice!!!! I still don't have the correct size blind!!!!
