Recommendations and Limitations
- Products come with 8" -12" of extra fabric to conceal roller.
- Shades ordered as outside mount with exposed roll will show the hardware brackets, regardless of roll position selected.
- We recommend reverse roll only for inside mount. A large light gap is created with reverse roll If outside mounted.
- Standard roll products with exposed roll show the back of the shade on the roll. If you don't want to see the backing on top of the roller, choose the optional cassette with colour-coordinated fabric insert which covers the roll and provides a clean, contemporary look.
- Cordless lift system in a reverse roll with exposed headrail and outside mount will require flipping the right-side bracket during installation. This will result in screws being exposed once shade is installed fully.
- Cassette size:
- Shades 96” wide or less: 3 1/4" D x 3" H
- Shades greater than 96” wide: 3 3/4" D x 3 5/8" H
- Cassette can be top-mounted only for inside mount. No side-mount available.
- Factory deductions :
- Inside mount (do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shades):
- Cordless: 1/8" headrail deduction with 3/8" light gap per side.
- Cassette option: 1/4” headrail deduction with light gap of 11/16" per side.
- Outside mount: No deductions on headrail. 1/2" light gap on either side of fabric.
- Deductions may vary +/- 1/8.
- Inside mount (do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shades):
- Shades over 94" wide and/or 82" in height will have a horizontal seam. Seam is placed as high as possible on shade so, in most cases, it remains hidden.
- No-drill headrail is only available in the colour white and will be visible after installation.
- No-drill headrail is only available for inside mount.
- No-drill headrail is only available with a cassette option.
- No-drill installation headrail requires 2 1/2" of depth to install.
- Factory will deduct approximately 5/8” off of the no-drill installation headrail regardless of lift style. Deductions may vary +/- 1/8".
- The locking mechanism on the no-drill installation headrail will be located on the opposite end of the control side selected for Safety Guard. The locking mechanism will be located on the right side for Cordless and Motorized options.
- IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If the no-drill installation headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and use those measurements as your width. Do NOT take the smallest of the three measurements, which may cause your headrail to not fit properly.
