Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Chain Guard
Chain Guard is a transparent shroud that covers the Continuous Cord Loop in compliance with the new Canadian regulations for improved child safety. When in the neutral position at the bottom of the chain, the Chain Guard leaves <22 cms of exposed chain at the top of the shade. To raise or lower the shade, simply raise the Chain Guard shroud and operate the exposed chain at the bottom as you would with a regular Continuous Cord Loop.

Shade is "cordless" and is raised and lowered by pulling on the shade itself.

Motorization
Motorization allows you to open and close your blinds from up to 75 feet away with the push of a button on a remote control. Please be sure to add one remote control per order, and select “No remote” when ordering up to an additional 4 motorized blinds for the same room (since one remote control will work on up to 5 blinds).

Neo Connect Smart WiFi Controller
Control your blinds with your smartphone or voice-controlled Amazon or Google device by connecting them to the Neo Connect Smart WiFi controller. To use the WiFi controller, you must order this product with Motorization lift option. Controller range is approximately 150 feet. One (1) controller is recommended per every 2000 square feet. A remote control is required to program your blinds. Please be sure to add 1 remote per order.

Headrail Options
2 blinds or shades mounted on the same headrail. Typically this is to cover a large window where the size is too large to allow a single shade. Each blind or shade on the headrail will have its own set of controls so one blind may be open while the other is closed. We recommend splitting very large blinds into two blinds on one headrail. If it is recommended that your blind be split you can still choose to have it manufactured as one single blind, however, it will void the manufacturer's warranty.

The Satin Finish Valance is designed with a modern square shape to compliment any décor. The valance is available in 5 different finishes: White, Anodized, Alabaster, Espresso or Black. This option is not available with reverse roll.

Value Vinyl Blackout Roller Shades are a blackout style window treatment that never goes out of fashion. These shades feature a smooth operating cordless mechanism with custom top-treatment accents. The fabric is composed of fiberglass yarns with 4-ply vinyl coating making it very easy to clean and extremely durable. This fabric is available in 5 modern colours. All colours feature a light-coloured backing for a neutral street-side appearance, keeping your home beautiful both inside and out.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • The following colours are only available up to 70" width: Azure White, Black, Pewter and Textured White
  • Inside mount: 1/4" total deduction on width taken at factory. Do not attempt to account for fabric deductions by changing measurements on inside mount shades.
  • Fabric colour can vary from one dye lot to another. To ensure that all materials are from the same dye lot, please order shades for the same room at the same time.
  • 2 blinds on 1 headrail is required over 96 inch width for Motorization.
  • 2 blinds on 1 headrail is required over 80 inch width for Cordless Lift.
  • 2 blinds on 1 headrail is required over 84 inch for Wand Lift.
  • Extra fabric wrap around the roller tube is included in the height of your shade.
  • Fabric telescoping may occur on shades with a height-to-width ratio greater than 3:1 (height is more than 3 times the width). Telescoping blinds may cause your shades to roll unevenly or fray your fabric.
  • Fabric-insert Cassette colours available are: White, Anodized, Alabaster, Espresso and Black. Note: When the cassette is ordered wider than the width of the fabric, the insert will be made of two pieces of fabric and joined in the middle of the cassette.
  • Satin Finish Cassette comes in a satin paint finish and is designed for modern décor to blend in with modern window systems.
  • The Deluxe PVC Valance is clear and has a matching fabric insert. The valance is 3.5" high. Outside mount blinds will have fabric wrapped around the front and the side of the valance. Inside mount blinds will have fabric around the front of the valance only. Note: If the valance is wider than the width of the fabric roll, the fabric insert will be made of two pieces of fabric and joined in the middle of the valance.
