Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Safety Guard
Safeguard is a transparent shroud that covers the Continuous Cord Loop in compliance with the new Canadian regulations for improved child safety. When in the neutral position at the bottom of the chain, the Safeguard leaves <22 cms of exposed chain at the top of the shade. To raise or lower the shade, simply raise the Safeguard shroud and operate the exposed chain at the bottom as you would with a regular Continuous Cord Loop.

Motorization allows you to open and close your blinds from up to 50 feet away with the push of a button on a remote control. Description 

Select Room Darkening Zebra Blinds offer you the ultimate in light and privacy control. Featuring alternating solid room darkening bands and sheer bands, these zebra blinds allow you to adjust the amount of incoming natural light. The unique design, reminiscent of zebra stripes, adds a modern and chic touch to any space. 

To let more light into the room, simply match up the solid bands. To block out light and enhance privacy, simply rotate the fabric so the solid colour bands cover the entire shade. You can also raise the shade for a full view to the outside. 

Choose the No Drill Blind Headrail option to install your zebra blinds in minutes without any tools. Just snap the headrail into place and insert your window shade. No tools, no holes, no hassle!

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Inside mount: Factory will deduct approximately 1/4” from the headrail and 1 ¾” from the fabric to ensure a proper fit.  
  • Outside mount: Factory will deduct approximately 1 1/2" from fabric. No deduction taken on headrail.  
  • Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". Do not account for factory deductions when measuring for your shade. 
  • Products come with 6" of extra fabric to conceal roller. 
  • Shade must be installed evenly to avoid fraying on sides. 
  • Do not remove band around shade until fully installed to avoid fraying on sides of shade. 
  • All brackets are white and will be visible at the top of the headrail.  
  • No-drill installation headrail comes in white and is only available for inside mount. 
  • No-drill installation headrail requires 2 1/2" of depth to install.
  • Factory will deduct approximately 5/8” off of the no-drill installation headrail regardless of lift style and 1/2” off of the width and height of your fabric. 
  • The locking mechanism on the no-drill installation headrail will be located on the opposite end of the control side selected for Safety Guard. The locking mechanism will be located on the right side for Cordless and Motorized options. 
  • IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If the no-drill installation headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and use those measurements as your width. Do NOT take the smallest of the three measurements, which may cause your headrail to not fit properly. 
  • Safety Guard shroud is transparent.
