Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

The cordless option does not have any cords and is raised and lowered by pulling on the shade itself.

Continuous Cord Loop is raised and lowered by use of a cord mounted to the Left or Right side of the shade.

Motorization allows you to open and close your blinds with the push of a button on a remote control.

Chain Guard
Chain Guard is a transparent shroud that covers the Continuous Cord Loop in compliance with the new Canadian regulations for improved child safety. When in the neutral position at the bottom of the chain, the Chain Guard leaves <22 cms of exposed chain at the top of the shade. To raise or lower the shade, simply raise the Chain Guard shroud and operate the exposed chain at the bottom as you would with a regular Continuous Cord Loop.

To use the Smart Blinds Hub, you must order this product with Motorization lift option. Controller range is approximately 150 feet. One (1) controller is recommended per every 2000 square feet. A remote control is required to program your blinds. Please be sure to add 1 remote per order.

The 10% openness allows natural light into the room in a soothing glow, while still providing a view to the outside. Choose from 6 designer colours or a cassette option.

  • These shades have built-in Microban® antimicrobial protection which is effective against bacteria by up to 99.99%. The fabrics are protected against stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew. This will help ensure your blinds stay clean and fresh for longer!
  • STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified. Every thread and hardware of these blinds have been tested for harmful substances, assuring they are safe for your family and home.
  • This product is GREENGUARD certified. These blinds have been tested and verified to meet standards for chemical emissions and pollutants, making them a safe choice for indoor use.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Sun control product. Not a privacy shade.
  • Polyester / PVC combination.
  • Shades over 96" wide will have a maximum height of 84".
  • Products come with 6 to 10 inches of extra fabric to conceal the roller.
  • Factory deductions: Outside mount will have no deductions on headrail. Fabric will be 1-1/4" narrower than ordered. Inside mount will have 1/4" deduction off headrail. Fabric for Cordless lift system will be 1-1/4" narrower.
  • Cassette min. flush mount depth: 3-1/4".
  • Aluminum roller come standard.
  • Shades will be manufactured with upgraded 1 3/8 inch metal roller for all orders over 72 inches.

The blinds are fantastic. Could not be happier. the only issue was the pre programed up setting that left the blind down about 10 inches. when i tried to reprogram that i had one of my 4 blinds go rogue. i called for help and the lady was really nice but could not help me. she could hear what it was doing but had no answer. I dont like losing to a computer or programing and after about 2 hours of fooling around i fixed that roque blind and reprogramed everything. The instructions could be a bit clearer. But i got it now.
