An incredible value for double cell shades, our 1/2" Double Cell Value Light Filter Honeycomb Shades feature a soft, thick fabric that is rich in colour and helps absorb sound for quieter living environments. These shades are made in 3 days and their 100% polyester fabric gently filters light, while still maintaining privacy. The ½” double cell construction also helps insulate from the heat and cold, providing superior energy efficiency and saving you money on your energy bills.  Customize your shade with one of our most popular options such as child-safe cordless Lift & Lock™ for raising large or hard-to-reach shades.  All Select Blinds shades are custom built to your specifications and include colour-coordinated rails and components for a custom designer look.

Recommendations and Limitations

• Neutral white fabric on back gives shades clean appearance from the street.
• Standard inside mount brackets are top mounted. Side mount brackets available upon request for shades under 48" wide only.
• Inside mount: Additional 1/4" (+/- 1/8") headrail deduction taken at factory on cordless shades.
• Inside mount: Additional ½” headrail deduction taken at factory when adding hold down brackets.
• Shades over 42" wide will have striker plates approximately 4" from the edges.
• All lift systems come with colour coordinated painted rails.
• No-drill Headrail is only available in the colour white.
• No-drill headrail option is only available for inside mount.
• No-drill headrail max width: 84”. Max height: 84”. 2 1/8" of depth to install required.  
• The locking mechanism on the no-drill installation headrail will be located on the right side.
• IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If the no-drill installation headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and use those measurements as your width. Do NOT take the smallest of the three measurements, which may cause your headrail to not fit properly.
