Mount Type - Inside or Outside Mount Refers to the way in which the blind will be hung, either inside or outside the window opening. Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

No-drill installation headrail
Install your window shades in minutes – no tools, no holes! All you have to do is place the no-drill headrail at the top of your window, push on the tension bar to lock it into place, and attach your shade.

IMPORTANT MEASURING TIP: If the no-drill installation headrail is chosen, measure the exact width of the top of your window frame and use those measurements as your width. Do NOT take the smallest of the three measurements, which may cause your headrail to not fit properly.

The new 1/2" Single Cell Day Night Honeycomb shades combine the best of both worlds: light filtering and room darkening options. You get a light filtering shade when you require sun protection and a blackout shade for total privacy. Each shade can be operated independently, which is similar to our top down bottom up feature. You can look at our fabulous product video for more information.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • The fabric colour is the same on the front and street-side. 
  • Colour-coordinated semi-gloss finish on PVC head- and bottom rails to match shade.
  • Inside mount:  3/8” deduction taken at factory on headrail and fabric.No deductions to headrail or fabric on an outside mount.Offered with top mount brackets only. Side mount brackets not available.
  • Standard cordless feature is ideal for homes with children and pets.
  • No-drill headrail is only available in the colour white and will be visible after installation. 
  • No-drill headrail is only available for inside mount. 
  • No-drill installation headrail requires 2 1/2" of depth to install. 
  • Factory will deduct approximately 5/8” off of the no-drill installation headrail. Deductions may vary +/- 1/8". 
  • The locking mechanism on the no-drill installation headrail will be located on the right side.

Everything came as ordered, no issues, all materials were clean and well packed. Used customer service once, and they called me back next day and replaced the parts same day, with new product delivered in a week. We needed to replace our motorhome blinds and wanted the dual blinds that allow light during the day and darkening for night. They were very easy to order and install. We are very, very happy with the product. The only challenge we've had is having the blind hold-downs work without snapping off and breaking. They are very stiff plastic and have no flexibility to insert the blind and release it.

The new blinds were fairly easy to install and fit perfectly. Nice colour as well. The top down, bottom up blinds were a little misleading to me though, as I thought that the blinds would be able to be brought down from the top in order to see clearly outside. However, this was not the case and only the bottom portion can be raised to see clearly out the window. I see on your website that you do have a top down version, and perhaps I did not see this version that was available. Anyway, what I bought will do the job.

We were hesitant to order blinds online so I called the number provided and was pleasantly surprised when I got a call back within minutes from and actual person, she was very helpful and pleasant so we proceeded with our first order. We ordered the top up/bottom down cellular 1/2 " blinds. The prices are unbeatable. We shopped around and found Select Blinds to be more than half the price cheaper than any other custom blinds store we went to. The order showed up about a week earlier than expected, so no long lead times. Installation was so easy and they look amazing once up. You can see that they are great quality blinds and for the prices, you can't go wrong. They are true to size. The blinds are stunning, and the colour (dove grey) is exactly what I was hoping for since it's hard to know the exact colour when ordering online. Another bonus is they offer free samples if you are not sure. We are so happy with this purchase, we just placed a second order for more cellular blinds for the rest of our house.
