Inside mount blinds are mounted inside the window frame opening that is recessed from the wall. Outside mount blinds hang outside the window opening on a wood trim, wall or door. Inside mount is by far the most popular mount and provides a nice clean look and finish to your window.

For inside mounts: please make sure to follow the Measuring Instructions on our site; do not make any deductions in your measurements, as our factory will make all necessary deductions to allow for mounting brackets.

Recommendations and Limitations

  • Back side of shade is white.
  • Inside mount: 1/4" headrail deduction and 3/8" fabric deduction taken at the factory. No deductions to headrail or fabric on outside mount.
  • Spacer blocks, extension brackets, hold down brackets, and side mount brackets are not available.
  • No-drill Headrail is only available in the colour white.
  • No-drill headrail option is only available for inside mount.
  • No-drill headrail max width: 84”. Max height: 84”. 2 1/8" of depth to install required.  
  • The locking mechanism on the no-drill installation headrail will be located on the right side.

New light filtering blinds

Pleased with my purchase light filtering honeycomb blinds. As this window has indoor rooms on both sides it is nice the blind is attractive to both views. Easy to install with our own tools. Only thing I should have done was have the open/close devise on the side instead of centre as the window is in the middle of the gbed headboard and awkward to open and close. My lack of attention to detail. Longevity is yet to be determined but all good so far

Overall are great blinds except for one thing...

I recently put new windows throughout my home. The new casings for each window are vinyl. I was able to reuse most of my window treatments, except in two bedrooms. I ordered no-drill installation blinds. The blinds are exceptionally well made and I'm pleased with them overall. Installation was straightforward. When I first installed the blinds they fit very firmly, but only stayed up for about 20 minutes and then fell down. I checked the instructions, reinstalled, and they fell down again. The sticky tabs sent with the blinds do not help at all. I solved the problem by using Gorilla brand mounting tape for the ends and 3M Command strips on the back. The blinds are up and have not budged at all. I think the issue is most likely that these blinds slide down vinyl casings and don't stay installed with the product sent with the blinds to help keep it in place. I think a wood frame around my windows wouldn't have had the same issue. Overall, problem solved and I'm happy with how the blinds look and function.

We found the blinds to be of very good quality ,fit and finish.Sizes were exactly as ordered. Install was a breeze. Could not find info on how to install plastic pull handle ,but it was figured quickly through trial and error. We are very happy with the order and love the fact that the packaging was foolproof with both the dimensions and room name marked on the package.we were amazed at how quickly the blinds showed up as well as the quality of the packaging.Would recommend these blinds to everyone ,Thanks again,

We picked the “easy install/no drill” type purposely for ease of install and it was nothing but. Now instructions to clip it in place after blacked was up. Took forever to figure out. Would I buy again? Yes now that I know but man it was not easy!
