Perfect Fit Guarantee
All of our window coverings* are guaranteed to fit – no matter what. We have made measuring easy for you with our step-by-step measuring instructions. We also have Professional Measuring & Installation services available.
However, we understand that mistakes happen. If you made any errors with your measurements, we will help you re-measure and will remake your blinds for free.
How to Submit a Claim:
In order to submit your claim, simply contact our Customer Service team at (888) 685-1735 within 30 days of receiving your blinds. If replacement blinds are necessary, the same product in the same colour will be remade. In the unlikely event that there is a price difference between the old and new blinds due to the size change, we will only charge you the difference. As all blinds are custom made, this guarantee does not allow for cash refunds. This guarantee covers up to 6 blinds/shades per household**.
In order to qualify for the Perfect Fit Guarantee, the original mis-measured blinds need to be donated to a registered charity, with a copy of the donation receipt provided to Select Blinds Canada. Note that in certain rare cases (e.g. high value motorized blinds), we may require the original blinds be returned to Select Blinds Canada. Please contact Customer Service before donating any product.
Note that we will do our best to match the Perfect Fit replacement to the same product and colour as the original window covering, but colours may vary and we cannot guarantee an exact match to the original window covering, or to other window coverings on your order not needing a Perfect Fit replacement (even if they are near the same window). If the product or operating system has been discontinued, we will provide a Perfect Fit replacement in the most similar alternative product available at the time of replacement.
Colour Match Guarantee
Choosing the right colour is key to ensure your window blinds perfectly complement your room décor. That is why we always recommend ordering samples so that you can see the actual colour – samples are free and the best way to find the perfect colour and texture match.
If you are not happy with the colour of your blinds for whatever reason (provided that you had received samples of that colour), we will remake your blinds with your new colour selection for free. Note that some colours change the product’s price, so if your new colour selection increases the price, we will only charge you for the price difference.

If you’re not happy with your custom window covering for any other reason (e.g. you changed your mind about a feature, lift style or colour, you prefer a different mount type, you made an error in selection when ordering, etc.), we’ll remake that same product in the same size as your original order, and give you an extra 15% off the new order price. Note that the new order price may be higher than the price of your original order if you choose any upgraded options or colours for the remake. In order to qualify for this extra discount, the original blinds need to be donated to a registered charity, with a copy of the donation receipt provided to Select Blinds Canada.
