Recommendations and Limitations

• Do not account for any deductions on inside mounted shades. The factory will make the appropriate deductions for a proper fit within your window frame. 
• Inside mount: ½" deduction taken on headrail width.  
• Inside mount total fabric deductions on width:   
  • Chain Guard: 1 1/4” (+/- 1/8”) 
  • Cordless: 7/8” (+/- 1/8”) 
  • Motorization: 1 1/4” (+/- 1/8”) 
• Some lift systems require more room on the roller to operate, resulting in a slightly larger light gap on one side: 
  • Chain Guard light gap: chain side: ½”, opposite side: 3/4” 
  • Cordless light gap: drive side: 7/16”, opposite side: 7/16”  
  • Motorized light gap: drive side: 1/2”, opposite side: 3/4” 
• Total square footage of Cordless lift system cannot exceed 60 sq. ft.  
• Fabric colour can vary from one dye lot to another. To ensure that all materials are from the same dye lot, please order shades for the same room at the same time. 
• Extra fabric wrap around the roller tube is included in the height of your shade. 
• Back of shade (street-facing side) is white for the back blackout shade and the same colour as fabric for most front light-filtering shade colours. Cloud White, Rain Cloud, Storm Cloud and Sand Storm light-filtering fabrics are white on the back. 
• Fabric telescoping may occur on shades with a height-to-width ratio greater than 3:1 (height is more than 3 times the width). Telescoping blinds may cause your shades to roll unevenly or fray your fabric. 
• Cassette comes in a satin paint finish and is designed for modern décor to blend in with modern window systems. Based on fabric selected, the headrail is available in Alabaster, Black, Brown, Silver or White. 
• Chain guard shroud is transparent. 
• Chain Guard controls will be on the left and right of the shade. Controls are not available on the same side. 
• Chain guard length is based on the height of the shade ordered:
