How to Align Vertical Louvers
If the louvers on your vertical blinds are not properly aligned, they won’t close properly. To realign your louvers, follow these simple steps:
- Pull the louvers to the closed position using the chain.
- When the chain stops, steadily tug it to realign the louvers. It will sound like you are stripping the gears.
- Turn the blinds in the opposite direction then repeat steps 1 and 2.
Static can be another reason you may have difficulty opening and closing your vertical blinds. An easy solution is to spray both sides of the vanes with an anti-static spray, or rub them with a dryer sheet.
